OOTD | Flirty Skirty

on

I love outfit posts, they are the easiest to compile and the laziest way to get a blog post out.

I never know what to include with the pictures. Everyone can see what the outfit is, so what is the point of the text? Does anyone even read the text, or do you just click through to the post to look at the pictures?

A thought crossed my  mind when I was about to write this post. Almost every item of clothing and/or outfit I own has a little bit of a story. Sometimes it’s just the thought process I went through before purchasing it, other times the item reflects a memory.

So to make these OOTD posts a little more intriguing I am going to write mini snippets of the History of my clothes…

Trust me, you are going to love this (!)

Bomber – Missguided
T-Shirt- ASOS
Skirt – Miss Selfridge
Bag – Primark

I was sporting this ensemble, perfect for this summer don’t you agree?

“I hated a pink with a passion for most of my life” Words of a former tomboy. I wouldn’t be caught dead in anything pink, or a skirt! Unless it was my school uniform…

Somewhere along the line, I grew up and got over it.

In fact, I love the pastel pink trend that is all the rave right now. I previously posted a how to master the sporty -chic trend post. The pink really adds to the pink element of the look.

I initially bought this skirt in hopes to be wearing it to an even called Kings of Gaana a few years ago. It didn’t quite make it to the event but I’m glad I kept it because it fits right into this years S/S looks.

The rest of the outfit is pretty basic. A plain white T. and a black bomber I got on sale. Sorry, I don’t have a big story for those…

Hope you enjoyed this!
